May 3, 4, & 5 ~ We got to go on a quick camping trip up to Dosewallips with our friends the Ketner's. Poor Charley broke off the key that is used to open the out side doors to the storage units, we pulled out what we could and he had to crawl under the our bed and unscrew the plywood under the bunk bed to see if he could unlock the door from the inside. It took a bit but he was able to get both doors open. Guess we need to go get new locks!!
Had rain most of the first day and night, which was not helping with our fire making abilities!! Had better weather the next day, got to get out and do some bike riding, girls had fun playing together ~ lots of exploring, playing cards and even some fun with clay. Charley was determined to ware shorts, even when his knees were turning purple from the cold. We found out that even without the rain we still had an awful time trying to make a fire!! Think we will wait for our wood to dry out a bit more before we take it camping again!!
All is well with the baby boy. Aubrey is doing much better with the idea of having a baby brother. Her big thing right now is giving the baby bites of her food, she will break off a small corner of a chip or find a the smallest grape and hand it to me to give to the baby. Then she wants to know if the baby liked it, does not matter if I am eating the same thing too!
