KC had is 4 month well baby check up yesterday, couple weeks late but... He is almost 26 inches long and 16.5 pounds. Doctor said it's time to start making him into a kid, no more baby!! Guess 4 months is the cut off. Time to get him moving, eating and talking... not sure if I totally agree with him on ALL of that, but we started KC on rice cereal last night, which you can see from the pictures it went OK. We didn't start cereal with Aubrey until she was 6 months and we did not have a multi-vitamin for her, that's new to us. (Aubrey didn't want to have anything to do with KC eating cereal, until we got the camera out. Hee hee) We have to get KC more tummy time, he hates tummy time!! Would much rather be in his jumper. As far as the talking goes, KC can gibber-gabber your ear off once he gets going. I asked about KC's sneezing, seem to be more apparent in the mornings and again at night, I thought at first he was getting a cold, but the cold has never come. Doc said not to worry, sneezing is not linked to cancer... quite the funny guy!
Guess we know this "kid" phase was coming... we moved KC out of the car seat carrier this week and into the big car seat. We did this because he was getting to heavy for me to carry in the carrier and his shoulders are getting so broad that he was not fitting!! It's taking me a bit of time for me to figure out how to get him in and out of the car with out the carrier. Once I get him out I have to figure out if I carry him or put him in the stroller. What to do if he falls asleep... crazy!! I have had a horrible time trying to keep him in clothes, he went through a growing spirt and jumped from 3 months to 12 months clothes over the holidays!! Wonder how long that will last before I have to start buying 18 month!!! Hee hee...
