The ER King!!

KC once again has visited the ER!!!   *** Here is the short version!!*** To start the week off Aubrey slept over at Gran's house on Sunday night.  Monday morning KC slammed his finger in the bathroom door and cut his pinky (left hand) a bit over half way. When I got to him the tip (between the nail and the first knuckle) of his pinky was at a 90 degree angle, I called 911, by the time the 2 EMTs came I had been trying to wrap up his finger, he didn't want that - but in the struggle we got his fingertip "put back in place".  Scott and Justin the EMT were really nice and said that we needed to go to the ER, there was no way I could have kept KC in his car seat so we got to ride in an ambulance.  Naval Hospital Bremerton sent us to Mary Bridge in Tacoma - just in case he needed surgery.  The x-ray showed that there was no damage to the bone (hip hip hurray!!), so we are to treat it as a severe laceration.  They put 6 stitches in his tiny little pinky finger - which was horrific... 2 big nurses and little tiny me trying to hold him down while the Dr stitched him up - next time I will ask for him to be knocked out!!  Gran and Aubrey braved the snow and came to Tacoma to pick us up.  We had a break in the weather and the roads were dry for our trip home!!  The BEST part of the whole day is KC is totally fine and does not seem to be in any pain!!
